 Over on google.nz they have a very, very neat Doctor Who Doodle!  It's a game!  You can pick which doctor you want to be!  OK in my case it's more like "which Doctor do I want to regenerate into when the Dalek kills me".  Still deeply cool!  

You know you watch too much Doctor Who when you see a blue police box while watching Foyle's War and your first thought is "I wonder what the Doctor is up to in the Cold War?"

I'm spending my halloween watching cable TV-- specifically, a rerun of Remington Steele from the early 80s. The Bad Guy this episode seems to be Tom Baker which is kind of making my brain hurt. He even looks doctory, wanding around 80s LA in a long overcoat that would make Ten proud. And taking pot-shots at Mildred. Who seems to have stolen ( Read more... )

 On the whole I'm really, genuinely loving season/ series 7 of Doctor Who.  It's working for me much better than last year did, though I'm a little worried that the Doctor is becoming darker as time goes on, as he's less and less connected to his companions.  I haven't even found Amy grating (unlike last year!) and I'm loving Rory even more than ( Read more... )
